Mason Williams Called Up To MLB After Judge Injury

Mason Williams has been called up to the majors today. Williams will most likely help platoon in right field with Refsnyder until Hicks comes back and serve as a defensive replacement.

Williams uses his legs and his great defense, and lately has been swinging a hot bat. He is batting .412 in the AAA playoffs this season, and was red hot in the month of August batting .328.

He played with the Yankees for 8 games last year and served as a pretty decent option for Girardi and the Yanks before going down with an injury.

Williams has just returned to action late this season, and he has put together a good campaign. Look for him to get some AB’s to see if he can help catch lightning in a bottle for the surging Yanks.

If you haven’t done so already give my article from the other day a read where I said the Yankees needed to call up Williams.
