According to the Chicago Sun Times former Yankee prospect, Dustin Fowler is suing the Chicago White Sox claiming the the Sox and the agency were negligent in not securing the unpadded electrical box that proved to cost Dustin Fowler his entire season, and robbed him of his major league debut by tearing his patellar tendon.
Yankee fans everywhere cringed as the watched a kid who had worked his entire life to make it to this point fall victim to an injury that should have never happened. Fowler would have led off the following inning to get his first career plate appearance, but that never happened as he tore his patellar tendon in the bottom of the first inning. He would later be used in a trade for the Yankees to acquire Sonny Gray.
